Building Technologies Inc. ("BT") is committed
to protecting the privacy of its customers. The following policy
describes how BT will collect, store, use and distribute customer
information. This policy does not apply to any BT corporate customers.
Corporate customers should review the specific provisions of their
agreements with BT.
USE OF INFORMATION
BT will collect, use and disclose information that is reasonably
required to enable BT to provide and maintain the particular product
or service requested, to maintain its customer lists and to respond
to inquiries or feedback from customers or service providers.
Subject to the exclusions below, BT will use personal information
only for the purposes for which it is collected, unless you otherwise
agree that BT may disclose it.
BT may use information to compile aggregate statistics and related
site information, to conduct internal research or for marketing
purposes and may also provide general information to our partners,
investors or other third parties.
We will provide information to third parties involved in the
delivery of the products or services to you (such as your landlord
and technical support companies or companies providing the technology
required to deliver the services) and to third party agencies
providing credit card processing, fraud detection and order fulfillment
services. Please be assured that we will not actively collect
personally identifiable user information for the purpose of sale
or marketing in a way that specifically identifies the individual.
In other words, we don't sell customer lists.
If we are conducting user surveys or gathering additional data
(such as, for example, information required to provide services
or products), we will tell you why we are collecting the information
at the time we collect it.
From time to time we may employ third parties to help us improve
our products or services. These third parties may have limited
access to databases of information solely for the purpose of fulfilling
these activities and they will not be able to use the information
for any other purpose.

cannot be ensured. We cannot assume any responsibility, nor will
we be liable, for any damages you or a third party may suffer
as a result of the transmission of any information that you make

may access utilizing products or services provided by BT, we have
no control over such third parties and your information may become
publicly available. You should read the privacy policies applicable

are providing on another website, we recommend that you contact

IMPORTANT EXCEPTIONS
We may disclose user information to a third party without your
consent if we have reason to believe that disclosing this information
is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against
someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either
intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property, other
customers or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities
or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is required
by and in accordance with the law or judicial process.
We will also disclose your information to third parties involved
in the delivery of the products or services to you (such as your
landlord, technical support companies or companies providing the
technology required to deliver the services) and to third party
agencies providing credit card processing, fraud detection and
order fulfillment services and in connection with a corporate
re-organization, a merger or amalgamation with another entity,
or a sale of all or a substantial portion of our assets provided
that the information disclosed continues to be used for the purposes
permitted by this Privacy Policy by the entity acquiring the information.
YOUR CONSENT
By receiving products or services from us, you consent to the
collection and use of your information as we've described in this
policy.
CHANGES TO OUR POLICY
If we find it necessary or desirable to change our privacy policy
in the future, we will post changes as soon as they go into effect
so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how
it would be used, and under what circumstances we would disclose
it. Any change to this policy will become effective on the date
